ROLE 👩🏽‍💻👨‍💻

Build and lead Growth to unlock the growth of the Superhuman Teams Business and accelerate the entire Superhuman mission. Lead our Teams journey to be the best in the industry.

As the Head of Growth, you’ll build and lead Acquisition, Activation, Monetization, and Retention efforts and the metrics and team associated with them. Based on where we’re at in our Growth Journey, we see these as the four priorities over the next 18 months:

Outcome #1: Build and scale our B2B Acquisition Strategy to grow logo acquisition 5x over the next 24 months

  • Drive messaging, channel mix, and targeting performance
  • Balance logo and direct end-user acquisition

Outcome # 2: Define and lead our self-serve Growth strategy

  • Identify the 10x opportunities to maximize self-serve / product-led growth (PLG). The scope entails the website, user and teams' signup, activation, invitations, referrals, and monetization
  • Drive team / logo activation, end-user activation, and team expansion through Growth loops

Outcome #3: Ignite and scale our Product-Led Sales (PLS) Motion in partnership with our Head of Sales to 5x our B2C2B conversion over the next 12 months

  • Nurture accounts and leads to maturity for Sales-led expansion
  • Identify relevant leads through behavioral and demographic signals

Outcome #4: Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional Growth organization

  • Inspire our team of world-class growth product managers, designers, engineers, analysts, and marketers to do the best work of their careers
  • Execute through a high-paced and rigorous experimentation pipeline
  • Hire, coach, and retain a diverse, distributed, and talented team
  • Lead cross-functionally with effective coaching and prioritization, clear communication, and modeling Superhuman values
  • Serve on our executive team to define our future acts and achieve our vision: a productivity and collaboration ecosystem used by — and loved by — millions of professionals!

You have 10+ years of experience in Growth at a technology company, with at least 3 years leading B2B Growth and 5 years managing others; and experience owning self-serve revenue and product-led sales pipeline targets.

Our ideal candidate is amazing at:

  • Growth Strategizing, Prioritization, and Execution: Able to build, prioritize, and deliver QoQ B2B growth strategies for Consumer and Enterprise SaaS businesses.
  • People Management: Develops, hires, and retains high-performing growth teams.
  • Making and Owning Tough Decisions: Good balance between data-centric rapid experimentation and bold risk-taking.
  • Bias for Action: Speed matters. Takes rapid steps forward, even in the face of uncertainty recognizing action is the catalyst for progress and growth.
  • Async Communication: Communicates succinctly and quickly across various mediums (especially Slack, Notion, and email). Can produce or consume long documents as needed without sacrificing speed.
  • Caring Deeply, Challenging Directly: Discusses and debates ideas openly, even when the decision is tough. Disagrees and commits and challenges others to do the same.
  • Strong Entrepreneurial Mindset: This is a transformational role, with many areas where there is no playbook.
  • Start-to-Finish Ownership on Outcomes: They act as if they are 100% responsible for their own outcomes as well as the outcomes of the company.
  • Customer Centric. They are always pushing to improve the customer experience. They do this without losing sight of business results.

SALARY 💸

The Head of Growth role may span a range of experience and expertise. Through our interview process, we will review your background, local market data, and use a mix of technical and qualitative assessments to determine where you fall in our range. We will talk about compensation in our first conversation and be transparent throughout the process about which level we think is the best match for you in our organization.

Our salaries for this role within US markets range from $252,000 – $300,000+. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, bonus, benefits, and company stock options.

We are open to candidates in the US and Canada. We take a locally informed approach to compensation and will be able to share ranges based on your geographical location of residence.
