As a People Experience & Delight Specialist, you will focus on building connection (both virtually and IRL) and moments of delight for all of our Superhumans.

ROLE 👩🏽‍💻👨‍💻

  • Run Superhuman’s celebration & recognition processes
  • Partner with the People Ops team to develop, manage, and improve our in-person collaboration moments
  • Lead company-wide culture building events across Superhuman (both IRL & virtual)
  • Help support our Community Program Leaders to encourage regular planning, events & connection; collaborating with the People Team to create new Superhuman communities
  • Partner with internal culture leaders to elevate and evolve our moments of connection and culture building
  • Triage the People Team’s various inboxes to ensure we’re delivering Remarkable Quality to our (internal) customers (aka Superhumans!)
  • Bring data consistency to our People Ops systems, so that we’re able to effectively deliver value across the company


  • Experience: You’ve spent at least 2 years within a startup or nonprofit environment with hands-on experience related to virtual events & employee experience.
  • Asynchronous communicator: You’re effective across various mediums (especially Slack, notion, and email) and can produce and consume detailed written materials as needed without sacrificing speed. You respond quickly and thoughtfully to unblock others and speed things up.
  • An eye for detail: With your focus on People Experience & Delight in this role, every detail matters. Your thoughtfulness shines through your work because you pay attention to the details.
  • Delight-focused partner: You are an expert at creating moments that surprise and delight everyone you partner with! People seek you out to be a part of their teams because you’re known to bring an extra sparkle to everything you touch.

  • Location: We're open to you joining us from a home office anywhere in the US or Canada.


The People Experience & Delight Specialist role may span a range of experience and expertise. Through our interview process, we will review your background, local market data, and use a mix of technical and qualitative assessments to determine where you fall in our range. We will talk about compensation in our first conversation and be transparent throughout the process about which level we think is the best match for you in our organization.

Our starting salaries for this role range from $69,000-$101,000 per year. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and company stock options.

We are open to candidates in the US and Canada. We take a locally informed approach to compensation and will be able to share ranges based on your geographical location of residence.
