Snoots is setting out to change pet care for the better by putting our veterinary team, patients, and pet parents back at the center of the care we deliver. Our brand new clinical model will reward vets for the great work that they do, focus on preventative care for our patients, and lower the cost of care for pet parents.

Responsibilities

As Head Vet, you will oversee all decisions relating to the care that we provide our pet-clients. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: setting our standards of care, hiring and overseeing all veterinary professionals (vet and vet nurses), setting up and complying with all laws relating to practicing veterinary medicine, etc.

In the first instance, before we can bring on a veterinary surgeon, you will also oversee all

aspects of clinical duty. This should be short term, and you will hopefully leave all clinical

responsibilities before the end of 2023 to focus on the business side of this role.

This is the most senior role at Dr. Pino and you will take part in every single decision that affects the business on a high level. This includes but is not limited to: where and when we choose to expand, fundraising, strategy, operations, hiring, salaries, etc.

Qualifications

• Veterinarian with an active veterinary license
• 5+ years practicing as a veterinarian, preferably in the UK
• An entrepreneurial attitude and a willingness to do things differently.
• An obsession with the wellbeing of our pets and their parents.
