Job Summary:

With fast-paced growth comes a multitude of data-related opportunities to explore and challenges to navigate. SmithRx’s Data Analytics team is at the forefront of wrangling vast amounts of data, unlocking their complexities, and harnessing their insights to generate value for present and prospective clients. We seek a Data Analytics Lead to assist us in these exciting endeavors.

The Data Analytics Lead will operate as a part of SmithRx’s growing Data Analytics team and report to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics. You will function as a generalist to start, functioning as a liaison between the data team and our stakeholder teams, which we organize under three broad verticals: Commercial Strategy, Operational Efficiency, and Customer Satisfaction. You will manage the data team’s day-to-day relationship with these stakeholder teams and ensure we are providing them with the resources they need to operate effectively. As the Data Analytics Lead evolves in their role, you will assume greater oversight of one of these verticals.

The Data Analytics Lead will support junior team members in diving deep into our data, hunting for the business insights that will support key business needs and communicating them to decision-makers. Furthermore, you will guide the team in exploring the intricacies of our data – searching for patterns and discovering trends that will inform our business understanding and contribute to organizational strategy for years to come. Finally, you will lead the way in designing creative metrics and appealing visualizations for reporting that effectively communicate our value proposition and enhance the SmithRx product.

Our goal is for the Data Analytics Lead to leverage their analytical rigor, business acumen, and prior experience to showcase the robust, meaningful, and cost-effective product offering we provide for our clients and members.

What will you do:

  • Lead the charge on partnering closely with our stakeholder teams to ensure all near and long term needs are scoped, documented, and have a place on the Data Analytics team’s product roadmap
  • Provide thought leadership for best practices and shape the team’s approach to data cleaning, governance, analysis, visualization, and dissemination
  • Guide team members in conducting rigorous, insightful analysis to not only answer the “what and when” questions, but also the “hows and whys”
  • Create visual snapshots that tell clear, compelling stories and illustrate how SmithRx’s value proposition makes a real-world impact for customers
  • Manage ad hoc tickets via the team’s helpdesk system, ensuring all tasks are assigned appropriately and have a clear timeline to completion
  • Provide end-to-end mentorship to the team, shaping both day-to-day operations and also the 3-5 year vision for the Data Analytics team

What will you bring to SmithRx:
