We are looking for an account executive to join our growing team to help scale Scenery’s enterprise business accounts.

This full time role can be joined from our SF location where the current management team is located, or anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a strong account executive with a deep familiarity in video editing software, creative tools, or collaborative workflows
Strategically identify market opportunities, target accounts and prospect new business
Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, differentiation amongst competitive solutions and tell compelling stories to create enthusiasm among prospects
Lead customer product demos while demonstrating an exceptional understanding of the platform and how it can be used to solve customer problems
Focus on how you can add and deliver value to your customers projects and organization
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to grow the business
We are looking for people to demonstrate the following experience and skills:
4+ years in a full-cycle, closing sales role, with proven performance owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close
Experience in the video editing, creative tools, workflows, and/or collaboration SaaS markets. If no direct experience “in the customer’s shoes” then proven ability to deeply understand customer’s problems and workflows
Excellent communication skills and comfortable with public speaking
Ability to quickly develop external communications, iterate to find effective messaging and collateral and a demonstrated fluency of productivity and sales related software
Must be a self-starter, set and reach aggressive goals and adaptable to change
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
A proven track record of biasing to action and getting things done
A strong sense of ownership in what you’re working on
The Company
Scenery is Series A-backed by Greylock, Craft Ventures, and Figma. The founding team has started 2 previous companies that created cloud based video editors together: SnappyTV which sold to Twitter in 2014 and Jumpcut, which Yahoo! acquired in 2006. We have experience leading large product and engineering teams as well as startup and growth stage ventures. Scenery previously raised a series seed round led by Freestyle.vc with Precursor Ventures, Wireframe Ventures, Transmedia Capital, Rembrandt VC and UpHonest capital participating along with amazing individual investors. We are ~20 employees but growing, focused on building and iterating our product to meet customer needs
