We are looking for a growth marketing leader to join our growing team and be responsible for the strategy and execution of growth marketing activities for Scenery. As a key leader, you will shape the evolution and culture of our team as we scale while directly impacting the business, and product growth, and company trajectory. This role is for Growth Marketing Manger, reporting to the Head of Marketing. This full time role can be joined from our SF location where the current management team is located, or anywhere in the US.
As our first growth marketing hire, you will be responsible for strategy, testing, daily execution, and scaling of multiple channels across performance, SEO, affiliates, lifecycle, conversion rate optimization, and more
Develop and prioritize roadmap of growth experiments and regularly report on learnings to CEO and Head of Marketing
Own our channel reporting and marketing analytics and ID key opportunities to expand growth efforts
Collaborate with product to ID opportunities for funnel improvement and drive growth-driven product development efforts
Amplify existing content marketing and product launch efforts, in close collaboration with existing marketing team
Some projects you could work on:
Develop testing backlog and reporting system for paid growth experiments
Pilot sales outreach strategies with messaging and targeting supplied by team
Design and launch an influencer marketing strategy to build our community
Partner with product and design on a new feature to drive growth
Work closely with our product and community managers to identify new opportunities to support and drive demand
We are looking for people to demonstrate the following experience and skills:
3+ years of experience managing performance and growth marketing
A strategic outlook with experience building and executing a multi-channel PLG marketing strategy at pace
Extremely organized and clear communicator
Experience and fluency with different attribution methods
Analytical thinking skills, as well as a deep understanding of digital marketing and the channels that will impact Scenery’s audience
An earned knowledge of how to create, test, learn and iterate to optimize campaigns
A creative outlook: ability to bring key insights to existing projects and drive new initiatives
Bonus: experience creating content (video, SEO driven content, etc.)
Scenery is by Greylock, Craft Ventures, and Figma. The founding team has started two previous companies that created cloud based video editors together: SnappyTV which sold to Twitter in 2014 and Jumpcut, which Yahoo! acquired in 2006. We have experience leading large product and engineering teams as well as startup and growth stage ventures. Scenery previously raised a series seed round led by with Precursor Ventures, Wireframe Ventures, Transmedia Capital, Rembrandt VC and UpHonest capital participating along with amazing individual investors. We are ~20 employees but growing, focused on building and iterating our product to meet customer needs
