About the role

We are seeking an experienced Strategy and Operations Manager to help us develop and execute our strategic initiatives and operations.The ideal candidate is an extremely motivated self starter who loves executing on strategic projects, has a proven track record of efficiently running projects, and can be a driving force in growing the company. This role is responsible for managing and executing a wide range of projects that drive growth, build our brand, and support our team.

Responsibilities

Strategic projects: Lead and execute new initiatives across the organization. Anything from partnership acquisition, community engagement, in-person events, and more. You are an extension of the Founder and CEO.
Own and build internal processes: Everything from internal communications, to strategic planning, vendor management, people operations, and more.
Partner and member success: Acquire and work directly with partners and communities to ensure they have an excellent experience. Manage end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from top of funnel acquisition, to negotiating terms and roll out.
Go to market strategy and execution: Build partnerships with companies and communities in the industry to power our go to market. Execute on growth initiatives.
Go beyond your role and solve problems as they come up: We value an ownership mentality that focuses on delivering the best experience possible for customers.

Qualifications

3 - 8 years experience in BizOps, Growth, Strategic Finance, Product, or similar role at a high-growth startup and/or similar experience in management consulting. We 💙 former or aspiring founders.
Growth mindset and incredibly driven to make an impact and be an owner.
Comfort in an extremely fluid and dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Proven ability to lead cross functional initiatives and produce business results.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Strong ability to research, analyze, and synthesize quantitative and qualitative information.
Extreme attention to detail, incredibly organized, self-motivated and sets a high bar for themselves and others.
Self-starter and owner mentality; you are highly collaborative, identify problems, and create solutions with limited oversight.

Bonus points

You are in NYC or able to come here for team off sites.
Proficient in Notion, Airtable, Excel, Zapier, Customer.io, Amplitude, and Figma.
Experience in independent consulting or freelancing.

Pollen is a remote-first company but you will have to be available on US-friendly hours. We have team members in NYC, Toronto, and Warsaw and have regular in person get togethers.
