Noula helps people take control of their hormones and live better lives, on their terms. No two bodies are alike - so why should our healthcare be? We believe that everyone deserves access to inclusive, empathetic care that places patients at the center of their care. Here at Noula, we’re tackling the problem of one-size-fits-all healthcare, which often overlooks the importance of hormones in overall health. We're always looking for talented humans who are interested in building a more equitable future of health alongside us.
The Role
We are currently hiring care coaches to join our remote team. This is a unique and flexible position requiring ~10-15 hours per week and the potential to increase over time. As a Noula Health Care Coach, you will:
Empower individuals to reach their healthcare goals by listening openly and helping them understand the next steps in their journey.
Effectively coach members via 1:1 virtual sessions, utilizing the Noula Health assessment tools.
Develop educational resources that are personalized to each member and their health goals.
Communicate with members via text, email, and video calls to guide them and answer their questions along the way.
Work closely with our Noula physicians to build upon our workflow and continue to improve the Noula member experience.
Responsibilities
Providing emotional support and guidance to members via text, email, and video calls
Educating members on their gynecologic and overall health.
Setting tasks and goals for members and tracking their progress within the Noula app
Engaging with members regularly on a weekly and/or biweekly schedule
Reviewing medical history and blood test results with patients to help them understand their known diagnoses and formulating care plans
Monitoring and documenting symptoms, side effects, and other changes in a member’s health status and adjusting their care plan accordingly
Connecting members as needed with Noula physicians as well as physicians locally through our vetted provider network
Providing information about accessible community resources available to members
About you
At least 1 year of clinical experience with a focus in gynecologic health. We’re looking for folks with licenses and/or certifications such as:
Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), or Master of Public Health (MPH)
Certification from an accredited training program: NBC-HWC (board certified or planning to take boards within the next year)
Strongly Preferred
Experience supporting specific communities including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and/or sexual violence victims
Bilingual in Spanish and English
What we’re looking for
You love a flexible schedule and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment - we’re a startup!
You’re passionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental. Navigating healthcare can have its challenges and we’re here to support our members.
You’re detail-oriented and organized.
