We’re looking to add new hands-on dedicated members to our team who will help us meet the increasing and immediate needs of customers.

Responsibilities:

• Portion food with a passion to create beautiful finished products

• Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish are plated into containers and jars

• Ensure the quality of the food items meets Methodology specifications

• Ensure all orders are picked and packed accurately and with care

• Picking food orders in a cold environment for an extended period of time

• Packing food orders as part of an assembly line

• Properly label and organize food stored inside our walk-in refrigerators

• Ensure the workstation is clean at all times

• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures.

• Follow appropriate personal hygiene procedures when handling food

• Escalate food issues to your supervisor/sous chef

• Report maintenance issues immediately to appropriate personnel

• Follow guidelines to properly stack orders onto pallets to be shipped out

• Assists with recycling efforts by ensuring waste is sorted into correct bins

• Assists with handling packaging material such as ice, liners, bundles of boxes

• Other side tasks as needed by other teams as necessary

• Learn our food product code system to manage your tasks for your role

• Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Key Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage experience is preferred;

• Previous cold warehouse experience is a plus;

• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations;

• Able to lift at least 40 pounds;

• Able to frequently bend at the wrists, elbows, neck, waist, and knees while carrying weight;

• Able to stand for long periods of up to 10 hours;

• Valid Food Handler’s Management Certificate;

• Able to work at our kitchen in Concord, California.
