Overview
Halfdays is hiring a Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager to oversee all social media, content creation, and influencer partnerships. This individual will be responsible for setting and executing strategies across all social channels and partner with internal and external creators to produce on-brand content.
We are looking for a dynamic team member with at least 5 years of experience in social media, content, and/or influencer marketing in the outdoor, fashion, apparel, or DTC industries.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence and engaging with our target audience.
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies, with a strong focus on Instagram and TikTok.
- Develop and execute on a multi-channel content calendar that brings our brand and product priorities to life across our social media landscape.
- Plan, produce, and curate visually appealing and compelling content for our social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with our brand identity and values.
- Lead and manage our influencer program, working directly with our partners to amplify our brand message and expand our reach.
- Lead and manage our creator program, partnering closely with our creators to execute on brand-aligned content.
- Monitor and report on audience engagement, comments, messages, and mentions across our social media channels.
- Analyze and report social media KPIs and use data-driven insights to optimize content and strategy.
- Collaborate closely with our Community + Events Manager to ensure promotion and placement of all community activations, events, and editorial content across channels.
- Collaborate closely with our Creative Director and Art Director to ensure all brand visuals are aligned with brand and seasonal visual directives.
Qualifications:
- You inherently understand the Halfdays brand and are deeply excited about Halfdays’ market positioning.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in managing and growing brand presence on Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience in influencer and content creator outreach and collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Suite, and video editing tools for Instagram + TikTok.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- You can solve complex problems, and work with limited resources.

Ideal Start Date: October 23, 2023
Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000 (DOE)
Location: New York City (On-site / Hybrid)
