About this Role
In this position, you will play a critical role in Guava’s front end development across mobile and web. We are looking for someone who loves to build great user experiences and leverages a strong technical foundation to build them. The role will start out as a full time hands on engineering role with opportunities to take on broader management responsibilities as the team grows.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of large features and new capabilities for Guava’s front end applications
Help to manage the mobile and web code bases, contributing to the ongoing evaluation of platform and technology choices
Serve as a mentor and technical lead for other front end engineers
Qualifications
5+ years of software engineering experience
3+ years of mobile development experience, preferably with some combination of native iOS, native Android, and cross-platform development
Proficiency with javascript/html/css (specific experience with React and/or React Native is a plus)
Strong product and UI instincts
