About this role:

As a FlowFi full-stack engineer you will be expected to take ownership of and contribute to the development, release, support, and maintenance of our client applications and the APIs they consume.

Our front-end application is the face of FlowFi’s customer platform. As a front-end engineer, you will be responsible for delivering highly polished and stable experiences that adhere to design and product specifications where thoroughness and attention to detail are evident in your work. As a full-stack engineer, there will be opportunities to contribute to our middleware applications, primarily in establishing data contracts and endpoints. If you enjoy working with databases there will likely be opportunities for you there as well!

You will also be expected to engage in the day-to-day responsibilities of a FlowFi Engineer, including: process ceremonies, team ceremonies, code reviews, documentation, release planning, and incident response.

This is an exciting role covering essential ground within our ecosystem that presents a rewarding challenge, and as such we are looking for an ambitious individual that wants to invest their time and energy into an amazing product with amazing people. You should expect to play a critical role in the development of conventions and culture as a founding member of FlowFi Engineering!

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years with the client stack technologies listed
  • At least 3 years with the middleware and environment technologies listed
  • At least 5 years being a core contributor on a software development team using standard process methodologies such as Agile/Scrum/Kanban

Requirements:

  • Uphold and contribute to a positive and safe working environment for themselves and peers
  • Contribute clean, resilient and well documented code
  • Navigate and adopt relevant codebases where necessary.
  • Is Able to articulate complexity, optimizations, and conventions of said codebases
  • Participate in the architecture, planning, and tasking ceremonies for creating units of work against our road map
  • Consistently meet timeline expectations and is transparent to management when blockers arise
  • Maintain relevant codebases and systems and is resilient when debugging and patching issues or incidents
  • Collaborate and pair with other engineers as needed to uphold the expected delivery of features
  • Self organize with other engineers on process and optimizations that can empower the delivery of features and engineering culture
