About AngelList:
We exist to accelerate innovation by increasing the number of successful startups in the world. We want to give more people the opportunity to participate in the venture economy by building the financial infrastructure that makes it possible for more people to invest in world changing startups, and build tools for startups that help them run their operations so they can focus on building.
AngelList is the nexus of venture capital and the startup community. We support over $124B+ assets on our platform, and we’ve driven capital to over 12,000 startups, almost 282 of which are unicorns. 57% of top-tier U.S. VC deals involve investors on AngelList.
While our scale is large, our ambitions are even larger – we’re innovating on the financial infrastructure for venture investors and the startups they invest in. Come build with us.
About the Role:
AngelList is seeking a Marketing Operations Lead to grow our Marketing team and help build the foundational structure as we build out a comprehensive marketing strategy to generate repeatable pipeline, nurture leads, and support our growing GTM team.
You'll have the opportunity to engage with a range of internal cross-functional partners including data, sales ops, product, sales, success, and engineering while directly impacting external touch points with a diverse range of customers within the AngelList ecosystem, spanning emerging managers, established funds, LPs, and founders.
You will be one of the first hires on the marketing team, and we're looking for someone who will take initiative, learn our product quickly and thoroughly, operate in ambiguity, bring a growth mindset to their work each day, and be excited to help build a revenue-generating marketing motion from the ground up. You will be reporting to our Brand & Marketing Lead.

You will:

  • Work with our Brand & Marketing Lead to create dashboards and reports that track marketing site activity, analyze inbound data, assess campaign performance and trends, measure pipeline impact, and determine actions to optimize performance.
  • Identify, design, and document scalable processes that enable the marketing team to be more effective in their daily work and drive alignment within the department.
  • Implement the foundation from a methodology and structural perspective for lead routing and scoring as we scale our GTM team.
  • Collaborate with our Product Marketing and Growth Marketing leads to create campaigns, upload contacts, track campaign performance, and assess impact on the pipeline to better understand channel efficiency.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data, provide reports for management, and aid in the development of measurement plans that contain benchmarks and goals for each upcoming program or campaign.
  • Act as the primary owner of the marketing tech stack, managing vendor relations and integrations, and working closely with our Design Technologists and Data team.

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing operations or revenue operations role
  • Deep knowledge and ability to track metrics across the entire sales funnel, from campaign engagement to MQL to SQL to Closed Won
  • Experience with multiple attribution models, reporting, and analytics
  • Strong analytical skills, able to draw insights and intelligence from marketing data, and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A collaborative outlook and the ability to work effectively cross-functionally across teams, including data, sales, marketing, engineering, product, customer success, and more
  • Ability to understand, assess, and implement lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, personalization, and other lead/customer management practices
  • A good understanding of database structure, data hygiene, analytics, attribution, and a working knowledge of GDPR regulations

How success will be measured in this role:

  • GTM adoption of processes and systems
  • Contribution to department OKRs and reporting
  • Completion of projects
If you don’t tick every box above, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’re building a diverse team whose skills balance and complement one another.
